Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level test engineer now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize.
With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you're only paying when you have work available for them.You can imagine that it's the same thing as getting a new employee but instead of doing all the admin and HR work, you simply pay a fixed monthly fee and we'll take care of the rest.
After the subscription starts you can start giving hardware test-related tasks to the engineer. Tasks such as creating test plans, and test specifications, figuring out how and what to test, troubleshooting existing test stations/processes, adding functionality to a test station, etc.Before the subscription starts we'll meet and align on what help you need so we can provide the right person for the job.
There are a few significant advantages. First, you will get the engineer available immediately. It is much faster than the hiring process. Second, you will save resources from regular employee overhead. You simply pay the monthly fee and give tasks to the engineer. We'll take care of everything else. Last but not least with our subscription, you're not getting access to only one engineer but you can think of the one engineer as your single interface. Behind him/her, there is a whole team that dramatically increases the overall productivity. You will spend less on human resources and increase productivity.
Yes! Absolutely. Hardware cannot be done remotely. Currently, we are supporting Southern California. Our engineers can support on-site as needed. We usually like to work with a hybrid schedule where we do some work remotely but go on-site when needed to achieve the objective.
We provide a resume at the beginning of every subscription to make sure the skills align with what you're looking for. Our engineers have on average close to a decade of experience developing hardware test solutions. We'll ensure you're getting the best support!
Yes! We have state of the art facility for manufacturing and assembly. If you need to manufacture and assemble a test station we'll provide you with a quote on a project basis. This includes everything from procurement, design, manufacturing, and assembly, to installation at your site.
